At Firefly: Take Me Out to the Black, 3 meals will be served per day: cold food for breakfast and lunch, and a hot meal for dinner. We will do our best to appease the tastebuds of most people possible, and at all meals a vegetarian alternative will be available. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to accommodate vegans or allergies towards common foods like gluten or lactose at the dinner table. Contact the organisers if you want us to store some special foods for you in the fridges in the kitchen.
The meals will be spread over the weekend as stated below:
- Saturday morning: Breakfast
- Saturday noon: Lunch
- Saturday evening: Dinner
- Sunday morning: Breakfast
- Sunday noon: Lunch
In case you miss a meal, you're always welcome to ask the kitchen personnel. We will do our best to avoid hungry players.
Players have to take care of dinner themselves on Friday and Sunday evenings. There are plenty of take-away options in Herfølge, and a pizzaria right in front of the school.
At the scenario, there are two options for ingame lodging: a spaceship or a territory. Regardless of which one your group chooses, all players must bring sleeping gear themselves, as this will not be available at the scenario.
Crews choosing to buy a territory for the group skillpoints will be assigned a classroom at the school. It is the group's responsibility to decorate the classroom with everything you see fit for enhancing your group concept. However, the classroom must look like when you received it by the end of the weekend again. As a rule of thumb, all territories are ingame, but please respect other players' private property, and don't go through beds and bags that are not your own. Likewise, don't hide ingame- or plot objects in beds and bags.
If you have any special wishes or requirements for your classroom, feel free to contact the organisers on email@example.com.
Crews choosing to buy a spaceship for the group skillpoints will be assigned an area in the spacedocks: the spatious gymnastics hall. The group will get a limited area which they can mark and call their own. A cheap solution for getting the spaceship-feeling could be buying plastic pavillons and tarpaulins, and build a cosy space where the group can sleep and hang around. If you are more of a crafty kind og crew, we encourage you to build props like facades for your spaceship. The measurements for your assigned area can be obtained from the organisers.
As a rule of thumb, all spaceships are ingame, but please respect other players' private property, and don't go through beds and bags that are not your own. Likewise, don't hide ingame- or plot objects in beds and bags.
At the scenario, an offgame dormitory will be available for those who have the best overall experience by sleeping peacefully without disturbances during the event. In the dorm you are required to be quiet and calm, as the area is meant only for sleeping, and not for talking or plotting during the scenario. If you would like to reserve a spot in the dorm, contact the organisers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All groups are required to have either a spaceship or a territory, and it is not possible to only reside at the offgame dorm.
